In 2015, our aim was to create a rural-style cuisine with reliable, high-quality and carefullyselected ingredients. Sáfránkert offers a homely atmosphere and an excellent choice of grilled food. Our interpretation of rural cuisine represents traditional flavours paired with 21st-century cooking techniques and plating.
A Taste of Home
In addition to our seasonal offers, there are always a few classic options on the menu thatremind us of those happy Sunday lunches in the Balaton Highlands.
Sáfránkert is not a fine dining restaurant nor a tavern. We offer honest, quality, country-stylecuisine where guests can feel at home.
The restaurant’s long-term plan is to operate with year-round opening hours. Our wine listfocuses on items from the Homola Winery, but an excellent selection of other regional winebrands is also available.
We treat the little ones with a special children’s menu, and as a side dish, we always offer seasonalvegetable pottages.
