Founder and Owner
He is the owner and creator of Homola Winery. A businessman who learns more and more about the secrets of winemaking each day. His goal is to make Homola Winery one of the leading brands on the Northern Coast of Balaton and to make Paloznak an attractivedestination for everyone. He believes that long-term success takes a dedicated team effort.
Both the winery and Szabolcs play an integral part in the development of Paloznak. The Sáfránkert Restaurant, the Homola Wine Terrace and the Paloznak Jazzpiknik make the village an interesting tourist destination.

Winemaker, wine expert
In 2010, accepting the invitation of Szabolcs Homola, he took over the management of the estate and the winery. Their joint work began with the creation of „the 100% wine family”, a selection that has now grown to become one of the most recognized brands in the Balaton region and has earned the recognition of both wine professionals and wine consumers.
In the life of the estate, Attila’s mission is to experiment and seek challenges. In addition to Olaszrizling, he has a special interest in working with Kékfrankos and Furmint varieties, but he also experiments with other world varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz.
The 100% wine family selection represents the popular base wines of the Homola Winery, with “100% Balaton” at the forefront. These fresher, lighter and more reductive wines radiate a true Balaton feeling.
Since 2013 we are making sparkling wines from Furmint and Chardonnay variaties, our Brut and Brut Nature wines are real curiosities.
